7 instead of 6, and the best has yet to come!

Enel Lab’s final selection event and announcement of winning start-ups was held at Enel Group’s headquarters .
The 13 finalist start-ups presented their projects to a jury formed by Enel’s Management and experts in the field of research and innovation from all over the world.

Riccardo Luna, a journalist of the Italian newspaper La Repubblica and Director of Start Up Italia, presented the projects. Together with the General Director of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) Paolo Annunziato, General Director of the National Research Council and the General Director of the Italian Institute of Technology Simone Ungaro, he discussed with representatives of the start-ups their projects, future perspectives and issues on innovation and the development of entrepreneurship.

Premiazione

The winners of the first edition of Enel Lab competition were selected in Enel’s HQ in Rome on May 9.
A jury which involves Enel’s management and representatives from the Universities, utilities and think tanks, evaluated the projects of 13 start ups who became the finalists. At the end of the event the top 6 were awarded.
Each start up has had the opportunity to describe their project with a video clip which was produced directly by the finalists together with Enel.
Riccardo Luna, the director of Start Up Italia and La Repubblica journalist has moderated the event.
